Jason Rodriguez
My name is Jason Rodriguez, and I'm the creator of ChromaCadence.
Military Service & Technical Expertise
For 13 years, I proudly served our country in the Air Force. My journey began as a military police officer, a role that instilled a deep sense of discipline and dedication. After six years in that field, I pivoted my career within the Air Force to the technical side, where I became a network engineer, systems administrator, and eventually a cyber defense specialist. That experience in securing and optimizing complex systems is what ultimately led me to my current work in cybersecurity.
Family & Community
My professional life has always been about solving problems, and my personal life is no different. As the go-to person in my family for all things pixels and light shows, I know firsthand the massive effort that goes into a single sequence. I have an incredible wife and two children, and balancing a full-time job with my passion for creating light shows is a challenge we all face.
The ChromaCadence Vision
That's where my background in machine learning came into play. I saw an opportunity to apply what I know about building intelligent systems to this exact problem. I created ChromaCadence as a personal project to handle the time-consuming work of sequencing, so we can all get more time back to do what we love—whether that's designing a more creative show, adding another song, or simply enjoying the holidays with our loved ones.
